Speed & Power Clinic

Camp Details
This speed and power clinic will focus on a variety of speed and power drills that are important for any track & field athlete who wants to maximize their abilities.  Specifically, the athletes will be shown correct form while running and warming up, as well as, optimal acceleration angles while sprinting.  Another important concept that will be introduced is elastic power drills, such as plyometrics with correct form.  The session will conclude with stability and corrective exercises, as well as, tips on injury prevention and nutrition.

  • National high school record holder in the long jump
  • Six time New England high school track & field champion
  • Two time Division I college long jump champion  

Coach Tom Dann        

  • Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach, 17 years at St. Joseph’s College
